What are these aquarium ornaments made out of?
The beautiful floating jellyfish from SunGrow are made using non-toxic silicone material that is safe for your aquatic pets, plants and water. The eco-friendly material is odorless and long lasting. Silicone is a rubber-like material that simulates the natural jelly-like elastic makeup of an actual jellyfish. This gives the aquarium decorations a lifelike movement and presence that is very similar to the real free swimming marine animal.
How do I install the jelly fish decorations?
Each beautifully colored silicone jellyfish comes complete with a 1.2″ (3 cm) suction cup and invisible string. Simply connect the line to the jellyfish on one end and the suction cup on the other. Secure the plastic sucker to the wall of your fish tank and release the jellyfish. This gives the jellyfish the ability to bob and bounce in the water naturally. Without any special lighting, the jellyfish will look as they do under no light. Add a UV LED strip, blacklight or moon light to give it the luminous, glowing effect.
Are the simulation jellyfish useful outside of the tank?
Because the included suction cups adhere to any smooth and clean surface, the enchanting jellyfish decorations look great outside of the fish tank as well.
