These kosher-certified treats will be available for a limited time starting in September at grocery stores nationwide. They feature the same crisp wafers and smooth milk chocolate that you love in your favorite Kit Kat, but with a Halloween twist. The spooky wrappers are a fun touch, but they’re also a great addition to your candy bowls around the house and office this fall.
They’re a perfect reminder to ‘Celebreak’ this season and that ‘every little smile counts.’ The first pleasant message one sees under the light, changes into an unexpected surprise in the dark, to reinforce that small smiles can make a big difference in today’s challenging times.
The glow in the dark Kit Kats will be available at select retailers and online for a limited time starting on Sept. 22. They will retail for $2.99 per bag.
Hershey has been kicking around the idea for a while, and they tested it last year with an assortment bag sold exclusively at Walmart, according to entertainment magazine Us Weekly. It’s safe to say it was a hit, because now the glow-in-the-dark Hershey candies are coming to stores nationwide for Halloween.
These new ghoulish wrappers will be featured on snack size Hersey’s milk chocolate, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and Kit Kats. They’re a cute gimmick for your trick-or-treaters, and you could even use them in your own special ways (imagine making a Hansel and Gretel breadcrumb chocolate bar path leading to something special or using the wrappers as candles in the event of a power outage). They are available at most major retailers nationwide for a limited time this fall.
